Fulton police are investigating the death of a woman found at a Red Roof Inn over the weekend. Officers responded to a call about an unresponsive person at the hotel on Saturday (January 18). Upon arrival, they discovered the woman deceased in one of the rooms. Her identity has not been released, but authorities have notified her next of kin.
A child was present at the scene but was unharmed. The child is now in the care of a family member, with assistance from Oswego County Child Protective Services. According to WSYR, police do not suspect foul play and assure the community there is no cause for concern.
The investigation remains ongoing, with Fulton Police continuing to gather information. As of Monday morning, CNY Central reported that no suspicious circumstances have been identified.
