Syracuse-Hancock International Airport is preparing for one of the busiest travel days of the year. As holiday travelers flock to the airport, officials are advising passengers to arrive at least two hours before their scheduled flight departure.
In an effort to streamline the check-in process and save time, travelers are encouraged to check-in early either online or through their airline's mobile app. To avoid any potential hold-ups at security checkpoints, passengers are also advised to visit the Transportation Security Administration's website, tsa.gov, to ensure they are not carrying any prohibited items in their carry-on bags or checked luggage.
Despite the lack of specific data on the expected number of passengers, the airport's management is confident in its ability to handle the surge in holiday traffic. Travelers are advised to stay updated on their flight status and be prepared for potential delays.
