Liverpool Man Dead After Being Stabbed Thursday Night, Another Arrested

Town of Clay, N.Y. - A man is dead after a stabbing Thursday night in the Town of Clay.

Onondaga County Sheriff's office says around 8:30 Thursday night, 50 year old Scott Lamica was driving his truck on Cotswold Court in the Town of Clay when 44 year old Richard Losee approached the truck and attacked him with a knife, stabbing Lamica several times. Lamica tried to flee with Losee still on the truck. Lamica lost control and struck a tree throwing Losee to the ground.

Despite being severly hurt, Lamica drove to the Citgo gas station on Route 57 and called 911. Deputies responded to both Cotswold Court and the Citgo station.

Both men were taken to the hospital. Lamica died from his injuries.

Losee, was released form the hospital and is charged with murder.

The attack stemmed from a continued neighbor dispute that had been ongoing.
