Fort Drum, N.Y. - A Fort Drum soldier has been arrested in the death of another soldier.
Specialist Riley Birbilas has been charged with premeditated murder and obstruction of justice in the death of another soldier.
Birbilas is accused in the death of Specialist Jacob Ashton last Monday.
Ashton, who was found dead in his car in a parking lot on the base, died from blunt force trauma.
The two soldier were roommates.
