Town of Salina Supervisor's Wife's Car Broken Into, Along With Others

Liverpool, N.Y. - The town of Salina Supervisor and State Senate candidate had a rude awakening this morning.

Nick Paro and his wife woke up to find that his wife's car had been broken into and rummaged through.

It was one of a rash of break-ins in the area. Paro, whose running to replace John Mannion in New York's 50th state Senate District. Paro said several residents were victimized with car windows broken and possessions stolen

IN a press release Paro said "Anybody can be a victim of crime" , and added added "We don’t live in a ‘bad neighborhood’ by any stretch of the imagination."

“Thankfully my wife and I are safe,” concluded Paro. “But the violation of personal property and space, the feeling of helplessness and inability to hold these criminals accountable stings viciously.”

The Paros are thankful to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office and will continue to cooperate to the best of their ability with Law Enforcement as an investigation is underway.
