Several House Fires Keep Crews Busy

Syracuse, N.Y. - Its been a busy 48 hours for firefighters in the Syracuse area,

Fire investigators are blaming an electrical issue in an attic for starting a blaze on Primrose Avenue that has left a family of 5 displaced. Firefighters were called to the three-hundred block on the City's Southside around midnight Saturday. The two story family home was heavily damaged.

Another vacant house fire Sunday in Syracuse. Crews were called to the Webster Ave location where the smoke and flames were coming from the three-story, multiple family house. They searched the house for people and after short time declared it clear. Crews had it out in 20 minutes. Fire investigators determined that the fire was intentionally set in at least two locations in the.

A Jamesville house fire leaves a family displaced. Monday morning crews were called to a home on Carrier Circle in Jamesville, where a fire that started in the garage had spread to the homes attic and two other rooms. Firefighters were able to stop it from spreading further.

No one was injured in either of the fires.
