Arrests Made In Road Rage Incident In Dewitt That Led To Shots Fired

Dewitt, N.Y. - Dewitt Police have arrested 3 after road rage incident led to shots fired last week

Last Tuesday, June 25th, Dewitt Police responded to the North Midler and New Court Ave area where they say multiple vehicles were involved in a road rage incident where a Jeep was shot at and hit, and rammed by another vehicle.

They now have arrested 27-year-old Miguel Marrero Rosario of DeWitt the driver of one vehicle and his passenger 20-year-old James Rosario of Syracuse, who they say fired the shots. Also arrested is 30-year-old Jose Rosario-Otero of DeWitt, who drove the car that rammed the Jeep.

Jose Rosario-Otero, 30 of DeWitt, NY, drove up alongside of the

27-year-old Miguel Marrero Rosario of DeWitt was charged with:

  • Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree

Miguel Marrero Rosario was arraigned and released

20-year-old James Rosario 20 of Syracuse was charged with:

  • Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree.

James Rosario was arraigned and held on $7500 bail, $15,000 bond.

30-year-old Jose Rosario-Otero of Dewitt was charged with:

  • Reckless Endangerment 2nd Degree
  • Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree.

He was released on an appearance ticket.
