Syracuse, N.Y. - The New York State Court of Appeals has denied Robert Neulander's request to have his conviction reviewed.

In a press release Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick say this effectively ends Mr. Neulander’s efforts to have his conviction overturned on appeal. He could take it to the US Supreme Court of the United States or a Federal Judge.

Neulander has been found guilty twice of killing his wife in their DeWitt mansion. He says she slipped and fell in the shower hitting her head. He's serving 20 years to life.
