Syracuse, N.Y. - According to data from the National Student Clearinghouse, the number of students enrolled community colleges and four-year institutions is falling.
Onondaga Community College, however is bucking that trend.
OCC says they have their first year-to-year enrollment increase in nearly a decade! Enrollment for 2023 -24 is 8,112 where as last year it was just over 7,300, an almost 11 % increase.
The NCS data says more students enrolling in vocational community colleges, is up 16-percent last year, construction trades rose 23-percent.

Tuition for full-time students is $2,645 per semester, and $220 per credit hour for part-time students.
