NYS Fair Director Sean Hennessey Stepping Down For NYS Dept. Of Labor Job

Geddes, N.Y. - Another change at the helm of the Great New York State Fair.

Fair Director Sean Hennessey is leaving to take a position with the State Department of Labor, as a regional representative for the North Country according to a Fair spokesperson.

Hennessey, just officially became the Fair director last Fall, after being in an interim position, when previous director Troy Wafner left.

Fair Operations Director Julie LaFave will now serve as interim director.
