Brewerton, N.Y. - State Police have released the name of the man killed in a rollover crash on I 81 Thursday night.
60 year old Scott Carpenter of Hastings, was traveling north on 81 in his jeep just before the Brewerton exit when he drove off the highway, struck a large DOT sign, and rolled over several times.
Carpenter was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the Jeep.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers continue to investigate.
