UPDATE: New York State police are confirming that the man suffered from an apparent self inflicted gun shot wound.
Clay, N.Y. - State Police are still investigating what led up to their discovery of a man that was shot on 481 yesterday afternoon:
Troopers say that shortly after 4:30 officers came onto a car parked in the left lane lane -- just past exit 12, the Route 31- Great Northern Mall Exit. The man was rushed to the hospital.
The left lane of 481 North was closed for a time while police investigated.
No word on the condition of the shooting victim.
