Syracuse, N.Y. - An Oswego County mom who neglected her son that allegedly lead to his death, has been sentenced for Social Security fraud.
Lisa Waldron, will serve 2 years, and pay $13,000 in restitution after she admitted receiving nearly $6,000 in social security payments meant for her son, Jordan Brooks, after his death.
At the time of his death, Brooks who had cerebral palsy was severely underweight, had bedsores over much of his body and was suffering from an infection.
Waldron has pled guilty to manslaughter and assault charges in regards to the death of her son.
