Syracuse Man Arrested After Robbing Key Bank

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police arrested a man after he robbed a Key Bank Friday morning.

It happened around 9:30 on South Warran Street when police say 54 year old John Brown of Syracuse walked into the bank and demanded $1,000. The teller handed Brown ten $100 dollar bills. Brown took the money and he left on foot. Officers found Brown nearby and he had the 1,000 dollars on him.

Brown was lodged at the Onondaga County Justice Center on the New York State Penal charge of Robbery in the Third Degree.
