State AG's Office To Investigate The Death Of Syracuse Man In May

Syracuse, N.Y. - State Attorney General's Office will be investigating the death of a Syracuse man in May.

The morning of May 31st, Syracuse Police were called to a house on Teall Ave for a person acting erratically.

When officers arrived they found Alex Rivera, unable to stand or walk.

Officers brought him outside without trouble, where he was sedated by paramedics and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

State law says every incident that involves law enforcement and a persons death must be investigated.
