Syracuse Police Arrest Two Teens Involved In Wild Melee On Massena St

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police have arrested two teen girls for attacking a 19 year old girl during a large fight back on June 11th.

Police say the the 16 and 17 year olds, were part of a group of girls who were gathered on Massena Street and attacked the victim who was cut on the head, needing multiple stitches. She also suffered other cuts, and bruises.

The two girls were charged with Gang Assault in the Second Degree.

That was the same melee that ended with 4 people being shot around the corner on Davis Street.

Nine others suffered various injuries from cuts to being hit by vehicles fleeing the scene after the shots rang out.

Below is the list on injuries SPD say occured that night.

20-year-old female, gun shot wound to the right hip. 

22-year-old female, gunshot wound to the abdomen.  

17-year-old female, gunshot wound to the hip and midsection. 

20-year-old male, gunshot wound to the forearm.

 

23-year-old female, laceration to the hand.  

19-year-old female, laceration to the head.  

25-year-old female, multiple lacerations to the shoulder and midsection. 

17-year-old female, laceration to the leg and arm. 

17-year-old male, laceration to the hand.

 

24-year-old female, laceration to both legs after vehicle collision. 

23-year-old female, abrasions to the side after being struck by a vehicle and hitting the ground. 

22-year-old male, abrasions to the side and foot after being struck by a vehicle and hitting the ground.

22-year-old female, abrasions to the midsection after being struck by a vehicle and hitting the ground.
