Elbridge Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Allegedly Shooting Wife

Elbridge, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriffs say an Elbridge man who's accused of shooting his wife in the head, is now charged with attempted murder.

Yesterday, 79-year-old Sherman Cottrill called 911 and told them he shot 60-year-old, Donna Cottrill, because she was bothering him.

Donna was rushed to the Hospital and is in critical condition.

Deputies say there's no history of domestic calls at the Kingston Road residence.

Cottrill is being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on $250,000 cash, $500,000 bond bail.
