The Syracuse Common Council is poised to approve ReZone Syracuse, a revision of the city’s zoning ordinance. If approved, this plan would be a major setback for housing accessibility, further exacerbating gentrification, segregation, and displacement. Tuesday, the NYCLU sent a letter to Common Council members urging them to reject the plan.
