Syracuse, N.Y. - A Mattydale daycare provider sentenced for the death of a child in her care.
Jessica Sims will spend 20 years in prison for the death of 23-month-old Lennox Santiago in July of 2020.
Sims at first claimed the child fell out of chair hitting his head.
Police investigated and discovered the 24 year old grabbed the child by his legs and swung him in the air, striking his head on a coffee table which resulted in the child' s death.
