Syracuse Police Make Arrest In Sunday's Shonnard Street Homicide

Syracuse, N.Y. - A man is waiting to be arraigned for Syracuse's 5th murder of the year:

35-year-old Miguel Cruz was arrested while hiding out at the Hampton Inn on Rt. 31 in Clay.

Investigators say that he shot Gregory Graves in the 400 block of Shonnard Street in Syracuse Sunday night around 7:30.

Graves died at the hospital.

Records show Cruz was on parole at the time of the murder.
