West Monroe Man Arrested For Shooting Another Near Brewerton Bridge

Brewerton, N.Y. - Oswego County Sheriffs have made an a arrest regarding a shooting outside Brewerton yesterday morning.

Around 4:30 Deputies responded to a location on Route 11 just northeast of the Brewerton Bridge after several people in the area called 911 reporting the sound of a car accident or a gun shot.

The investigation revealed that a 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim knew the shooter, and now Deputies have arrested 18 year old Nathaniel Perry, of the Town of West Monroe.

The shooting happened as an argument took place among several people.

Perry was charged with Assault in the first degree and Criminal Use of a Firearm in the first degree, both Class B violent felonies.

The victim who has not been identified is expected to survive.
