Onondaga County Health Department Issuing Warning After 40 OD's In 48 Hours

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Health Department has issued a warning about a spike in overdoses.

They say there were approximately 40 suspected overdoses in the past 48-hours.

The reports indicate a concentration of OD's in the North and West sides of the city of Syracuse, with some occurring in the Liverpool and Brewerton areas.

Some of the overdoses occurred with drugs that were sold in wax bags with a blue teddy bear stamped on them.
