Greensboro, N.C. - SU men's basketball ACC Tournament run is over and perhaps Coach Jim Boeheim's career as coach.
The Orange lost to Wake Forest 77 - 74.
During the press conference afterward Boeheim was a little confusing, reminiscing about his time as Coach. When pressed as to whether he is announcing his retirement he said "I think you missed it, I gave my retirement speech on the court last Saturday, and I gave it in the press conference afterwards."
As he was asked again if he is retiring he said its up to the University , he added "its up to them. I hope we can come to a good agreement, but that remains to be seen..."
He also said the University hasn't offered him anything as to work or anything and that he hasn't had any conversations about that.
Boeheim has been holding the whistle at SU for the past 47 years.
