Geddes, N.Y. - Another act announced for the State Fair, and you "heard it from a friend".
REO Speedwagon, the band formed in in 1967 and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972 will take the Experience Stage at Chevy Park, Monday August 28th at 8pm.
The band’s landmark Hi Infidelity album, which contained the massive hit singles “Keep On Loving You” and “Take It On the Run,” spent 15 weeks in the Number 1 slot in 1980. To date, REO Speedwagon has sold more than 40 million albums.
Like all performances in the Chevrolet Music Series, it is free with admission to the Fair.
The Great New York State Fair runs, Wednesday, August 23, until Labor Day, Monday, September 4.
