Two Syracuse Police Officers Resign After Seperate Incidents

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police have two less officers after resignations.

Syracuse Police Chief Joseph Cecile has accepted the resignation of Police Officer Ahmad Bradley and Officer Milton Sustache.

Officer Bradley, while off duty, accidentally discharged a shotgun into the floor of his apartment in the Town of Clay.

Officer Sustache while on duty, interfered with an investigation by the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office into a DWI arrest of his sister.

District Attorney William Fitzpatrick says he's closing the investigations in both incidents.

Notifications of the resignations will be made to the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services for the purpose of Bradley and Sustache’s decertification as law enforcement officers.

Notification will also be made to the National Decertification Index to notify law enforcement agencies nationwide of their status.
