Melbourne, FLA - The Oneida community is saddened by the news of the death of their girls varsity soccer coach.
48 year old Dale McCormick drowned Sunday afternoon off a beach in Melbourne Florida trying to help his two children who got caught in an undertow.
The two children made it to shore safely but McCormick disappeared.
He was finally pulled from the water but efforts to resuscitate him failed.
