Syracuse Man Killed After Slamming Into A Car While On A Dirt Bike

Syracuse, N.Y. - A serious crash last night has taken the life of a dirt bike rider.

Syracuse police say a little before 7pm, 34 year old Johnny Fuentes drove through a red light and T-boned a car at the intersection of North Geddes Street and West Belden Avenue.

Police say Fuentes was thrown form the dirt bike and was unresponsive when police arrived.

He later died at the hospital from his injuries.

The driver of car remained on the scene and was cooperative. 

Police say impairment does not appear to be a factor.
