Fulton Junior High Teacher Arrested, Stole From School And Had Illegal Guns

Oswego, N.Y. - A Fulton Junior High Teacher has been arrested for stealing from the school and possession of illegal guns.

Fulton Police say 42 year old Jesse Weigand of Oswego, is accused of stealing over $13,000 worth of items from the school including tools and furniture.

When police searched Weigand’s home they found several illegal weapons including 9 assault rifles, and 91 high-capacity magazines able to hold between 15 and 60 rounds of ammo. 48 of those 60 magazines were fully loaded.

Weigand faces the following charges:

  • 1 count of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree – Class D Felony
  • 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child — Class A Misdemeanor
  • 11 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree – Class D Felony
