Syracuse, N.Y. - An investigation is underway into what caused a house fire in Syracuse that left a 5 year old boy dead.
When fire crews arrived at the Douglas St home around 3:30 the front of the house was fully engulfed in flames.
Crews were told that a mother and child could be inside.
Firefighters only found one person, a 5 year old boy, who was rushed to the hospital where he died.
The fire is being labeled suspicious until a cause can be determined.
