Federal Judge Blocks State's Ban On Gun At Places Of Worship

Buffalo, N.Y. - A Federal judge is blocking New York from banning guns in churches.

A temporary restraining order was issued yesterday, against the law after two church leaders sued the state, saying the law ran counter to the gun rights spelled out in the Second Amendment.

The judge cited the Supreme Court decision from last June that struck down New York's previous gun law, and in his ruling, the judge called New York's "new" gun laws even more restrictive.
