Cicero, N.Y. - Onondaga County Health Department says they have found some mosquito borne viruses in traps in the Cicero Swamp area.
A mosquito pool from Route 298 was positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis or Triple E and a pool from Island Road was positive for West Nile Virus. Both viruses were found earlier this season in that same area.
They are planning to spray the Cicero Swamp and immediate surrounding areas Saturday night after 6:30 pm, weather permitting.
