Oswego, N.Y. - Oswego County Health Department has found both Triple E and West Nile virus in mosquitos pools.
The Eastern equine encephalitis virus was found in one mosquito pool sample in the town of West Monroe.
The West Nile virus was found in two other pools in the county, one in the town of Albion and the other in town of West Monroe.
Officials will continue to monitor the activity and to take the appropriate course of action.
Oswego County Health Department remind people to avoid peak mosquito times at dusk and dawn, wear protective clothing, and use insect repellent when outdoors.
