Fulton Man Arrested For Manslaughter

Oswego, N.Y. - Oswego County Sheriffs have charged a Fulton man with manslaughter in regards to an incident in January.

47 year old Juan Rivera, was driving on Tubbs Road in the Town of Mexico when he collided with a pole. His girlfriend Rebecca Fink, got out of the car and the two got into an argument during which Rivera ran over her with his vehicle. He then put the severely injured woman back in vehicle and drove away.

Deputies found him parked on the side of West Stone Road in New Haven and Fink was rushed to the hospital where she died days later.

Rivera is charged with Manslaughter in the second degree, Leaving the Scene of an Incident Resulting in Death, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the second degree.

Sheriffs say the incident is still under investigation and anyone who has information, especially a yet to be identified good Samaritan who stopped on Tubbs Road and interacted with Rivera and Rebecca, is encouraged to call the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office at (315) 349-3411.
