Tully Man Arrested After Firing Shots At Neighbor's Camp And Police

Town of Richland, N.Y. - State Police arrested a Tully man after he shot at his neighbors

Yesterday Troopers responded to a camp in the Town of Richland for a shooting.

A person said their neighbor, 80 year old Robert Bailey fired several shots at their home, hitting a septic system control panel, a window and going through one window exiting out the other side of the building.

Bailey barricaded himself inside his camp and fired at officers several times before surrendering about 4 hours later.

He faces the following charges:

  • (3) counts Menacing a Police Officer, a class “D” felony
  • (2) counts Reckless Endangerment 1st degree, a class “D” felony
  • Criminal Mischief 2nd degree, a class “D” felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree, a class “A” misdemeanor
