Albany, N.Y. - New York State is allocating 35-million-dollars to bolster abortion services as the Supreme Court decides the fate of Roe v. Wade.
Governor Kathy Hochul says 25-million-dollars will go directly to abortion providers via the State Health Commissioner's Emergency Fund. Another ten-million worth of grants will be available to implement security measures at abortion care facilities.
Hochul says she wants to get ahead of the Supreme Court's final decision which is expected in the coming weeks.
