Two Pedestrians Involved In Hit And Run Identified, Deputies Seek Driver

Town of Onondaga, N.Y. - Onondaga County deputies are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that left two men severely injured.

Deputies say 24-year-old Luis Berrios was walking along Meredith Avenue, in the Town of Onondaga, with his 65 year old Uncle Benjamin Berrios, when they were struck from behind by a white SUV.

Luis Berrios was found along the side of the road and rushed to the hospital.

Benjamin Berrios had left the scene before police arrived, but was found later and taken to the hospital.

The SUV has been found abandoned on the Onondaga Nation.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
