Syracuse, N.Y, - Syracuse Fire Investigators are trying to figure out the cause of a late night blaze.
A little after 11, crews responded to a house on Westmoreland Avenue. They found heavy smoke and an active fire in the two family, 3 1/2 story home where 5 people lived. Only one person was home at the time of the blaze and they got out safely.
Firefighters say heavy clutter slowed down the fighting of the fire.
The home suffered severe damage and can not be lived in at this time.
