Whitestown, N.Y. - A 40-year-old Cazenovia woman faces multiple charges after she took a U-turn on the Thruway near Utica causing an accident.
State Police say Adelaide Krumsiek was going west bound on I 90 when she made a U-Turn and began heading East in the West bound lane slamming head on into a box truck.
She then got out of her vehicle and tried to walk away.
Troopers finally got her in custody and she was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and a mental health evaluation.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
She was issued multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
