Syracuse, N.Y -Syracuse Police Department, now under a new Chief Joe Cecile, has announced that they are offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus to lateral transfer of an officer from other agencies.
This bonus will be payable in two $5,000 increments. One after completion of Field Training and the second after the probation period.
If any current Syracuse officer refers a lateral transfer, they could earn a $500 bonus.
Anyone who applies must be a current Law Enforcement Officer in the state and along with other requirements.
