On Saturday, the 16th day of April, 2022 at approximately 12:13 am, uniformed Syracuse Police Officers heard several gunshots coming from the 300 block of South Clinton Street. Responding officers located a total of five people who had been struck by gunfire. The police officers rendered medical aid to the victims. One of the victims, a 24-year-old male, was ultimately pronounced dead. One victim remains in critical condition, and the other three victims have non-life-threatening injuries.
