Woman With No Shoes, Socks Or Coat, Rescued On Onondaga Nation

Onondaga Nation, N.Y. - Onondaga County Deputies rescued a Nedrow woman from the freezing temperatures last night.

The woman in her 50's was seen wandering into the woods, without any shoes, socks, or a coat off Route 80 at Gibson Road on the Onondaga Nation.

Deputies called out Air1 to search the area but they were forced to stop due to extreme weather conditions. Syracuse Police's K9 unit arrived and were tracking the woman, when a resident in the area alerted police that she was seen on Gibson Road near Route 11A.

She was found and taken to the hospital to be treated for hypothermia.
