Syracuse, N.Y. - Triple A says it doesn't look like gas prices will be dropping anytime soon.
Today’s national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.49, up five cents from last week. One year ago, the price was $2.51.
The New York State average is $3.68, up nine cents. Syracuse is up 9 cents to 3.64. Bufflao is up 9 cents as well at 3.62 a gallon.
Rochester and Watertown up 8 cents and both have an average of 3.66.
Rome has the highest average price at 3.70 up 7 cents, but Ithaca saw the biggest jump of 10 cents with their average being 3.68 a gallon.
