Clay, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriffs Office is investigating a fatal shooting in Clay.
Sheriffs they responded to the 4400 block of Riverview Road around 7:30. It was the home of Isaac Eames, an off duty Onondaga County Sheriffs Civil Deputy.
Deputy Eames was pronounced dead at the scene. Two family members were rushed to the hospital, both in critical condition.
Detectives continue to investigate and say this was not a random act.
