Oswego County DA Will Not Continue Cuomo Harassment Investigation

Oswego, N.Y. - Another win for former Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The Oswego County District Attorney has announced they are not continuing their harassment investigation because according to them there's "not a sufficient legal basis to bring criminal charges against former Governor.

Cuomo was accused of unwanted physical contact, a claim made by Virginia Limmiatis.

DA Gregory Oakes said the decision should not be interpreted as casting doubt upon the character or credibility of Limmiatis, or how harmful the acts she experienced were. He went on to say, "I found her to be reliable and reasonable."

Mariann Wang who represents Limmiatis’ said "the lack of criminal prosecution does not mean Cuomo is innocent and that his behavior toward Limmiatis was an abuse of power."
