Onondaga County COVID-19 Cases Remain Lower Than Last Week At This Time

Syracuse, N.Y. - While COVID-19 cases still remain high in Onondaga County they are also continue to remain lower than last week.

County Executive Ryan McMahon said today there are 611 new cases, last Thursday that number was 990.

There are 207 people battling the virus in the hospital with 47 in ICU, of those in ICU 47% are unvaccinated.

McMahon said it was a tough 24 hours with 4 women dying in the hospital, all with underlying conditions and 1 nursing home death reported.
