UPDATE: Syracuse Police has identified the woman shot in Skyline Apartments as Ebony Sanders.
Syracuse, N.Y. - A 31-year-old woman is expected to make a full recovery after being shot inside the Skyline Apartments building.
It's the same building where 93-year-old Connie Tuori was tortured to death in February of 2021. Her body wasn’t discovered for weeks.
Police say the victim was struck in the midsection by gunfire and that they believe the shooting happened on the ninth floor. The woman, whose name hasn't been released, was taken to Upstate University Hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made and anyone with information can call police.
