Investigation Continues Into What Started Fire At Vacant Home In Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y. - The investigation continues into what sparked a fire that caused extensive damage to a vacant home in Syracuse.

Crews were called to battle the blaze on Mary Street yesterday and saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the residence when they arrived. Getting inside the home was difficult for firefighters because most of the doors and windows had plywood on them.

The fire was put out in under an hour and no injuries were reported.
