New Leadership Announced At Onondaga County Legislature

Syracuse, N.Y. - There's been a change in leadership of the Onondaga County Legislature.

Republican Jim Rowley is replacing fellow Republican Dave Knapp.

The vote was 9-8 with all six Democrats voting to support Rowley. He also won votes from fellow Republicans John McBride and Ken Bush. Rowley and Bush did not caucus with the legislative Republican caucus last year.

Knapp had advanced Legislator Julie Abbott to replace him following a closed-door negotiation. She garnered the other 8 Republican votes.
