Syracuse Proud Boy Pleads Guilty In Regards To Capitol Riot

Washington, D.C. - The Syracuse man arrested following the violent protests at the U.S. Capitol was in court today.

34 year old Mathew Green pleaded guilty to conspiracy and obstruction of official proceedings. As part of the deal he agrees to pay $2,000 restitution to Architect of the Capitol and will cooperate with the Federal investigations into the January 6th riot.

Greene was one of several protesters who stormed the Capitol building in an attempt to stop Congress from certifying President Biden's victory over former President Donald Trump.

Greene could face 41-51 months in prison when he's sentenced sometime next year.
