Onondaga County Executive McMahon Activates National Ambulance Contract

Syracuse, N.Y. - County Executive Ryan McMahon has announced that the National Ambulance Contract (NAC) has been activated for Syracuse/Onondaga County in an effort to ensure that hospital capacity remains manageable for local area hospitals.

In a press release he stated beginning this Friday ambulances and personnel will arrive at the New York State Fairgrounds.

The NAC will work with local hospitals to prioritize the transportation of patients to other hospitals within the region or state to ensure hospital capacity remains at manageable levels

Additional ambulances will be deployed in the subsequent days as necessary. Personnel may also support emergency departments at local area hospitals.
